This is a natural phenomena resulting from bamboo plants and vegetation, reeds and chutes being covered in volcanic material and ash and then subsequently coated in Agate and Chalcedony crystal creating a stalactite look which takes approximately 20 million years to form.
This specimen is a rare uncommon crystal fossil from the Java Islands in Indonesia.
